Returns, exchanges, and where to send merchandise — Emergency Responder Products

Our return policy is straightforward. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us by phone or email and we will help with the return. Some items are subject to a re-stocking fee of up to 25%. We do not provide return labels.

Time frames & refunds

If you wish to return your item after 30 days, a merchandise credit will be issued. The item must be returned in the original packaging and cannot appear used or be damaged or abused in any way in order to receive a full refund. Shipping and handling are not refundable. Items must be returned by a prepaid, insured, traceable method (for example FedEx, UPS, or USPS Priority Mail). We are unable to accept returns after 60 days.

Custom & select products

All custom items are final sale (for example badges, helmet shields, imprinted or embroidered items, and similar). Certain items are eligible for up to a 25% restocking fee, including but not limited to 5.11 Tactical products.

Please note Due to hazardous material restrictions, road flares are not returnable.

Restriction on purchase or possession of body armor

It is generally against Federal law for a person convicted of a violent felony to purchase or possess body armor. Various states also restrict purchase or possession by persons convicted of certain felonies, other crimes of violence, or drug crimes. By purchasing body armor from Emergency Responder Products, you acknowledge and certify that (i) you have no felony convictions, (ii) you have not been convicted of any other crime that would restrict your ability to purchase or possess body armor under Federal or State law, (iii) you do not intend to use the body armor for any criminal purpose, and (iv) you are over 18 years old. Emergency Responder Products reserves the right to refuse to sell body armor to any person. The sale of body armor to residents of Connecticut is restricted to in-person sales, unless the sale is made to certain law enforcement or military personnel.
